Employees will assist a recent graduate with congenital muscular dystrophy.  This is a great opportunity for pre-health students interested in getting hands-on experience working in the healthcare field.

Employee will be trained in the following areas:

Requirements:

Must be available to work a minimum of two days per week and a minimum of 10 hours per week.   Employees can work up to 40 hours per week if they would like. The position is currently needed between December 16th and January 4th.

Employees will also be required to assist with cooking and housekeeping.  Responsibilities include accompanying the individual to community activities and work, assisting with cooking meals, housekeeping, assistance with dressing, make-up and combing/styling hair, bathing/ showering, non-invasive ventilator care, etc.

Must be patient, reliable, caring, fun, non-smoker, have good hygiene habits, good references.  Must be able to lift & transfer the individual after being trained.
